BASS: The bass fishing is starting to pick up here on Truman. The top water bait is starting on the flat points. Zara Spooks and Pop R's are working in 4' of water. 8" and 10" worms are working in the pockets in 4' of water fishing the willows. Stay close to the points. Larry Wright and Hap Hartman proved this last night weighing in a 3 fish limit of 9.72 lbs. They also had big bass weighing 4.14 lbs. Second went to Barkledge and Barkledge with7.61 lbs. Third was Ryder and Kevin Smith with 7.25 lbs. Like I said earlier the bite is really starting to pick up.
