I have been receiving a number of questions regarding the Knock Out Football Pool. I am very excited about the interest. I’ll try to answer the majority of them here.
WHO
The pool is open to anyone. YES, ANYONE. Not just Hawg Hawlers members. You are not limited to a single entry. Please send an email to your friends and family to have them join in on the fun. Post the flyer at your work. Try to sell a few to your co-workers. Start a competition. Who in your group can be that last one still in.
WHAT
It is a knock out pool. All you need to do is pick ONE team a week. Your team must win or you are KO’d. You cannot pick the same team more than once. You must send your weekly pick to Dan Durbin at dan@drdurbin.com before the 12:00 NOON deadline every Thursday. If you miss the deadline, you’re KO’d. The payout will be based on the amount of participation. I hope the payout will reach $500.00.
WHERE
Well, right here. I’ll post some of the results on the message board and I’ll send an email with everyone’s picks to each person. I’ll also send the results to each person Tuesday morning.
WHEN
The first week is September 9-13 so you will need to send in your money and information before then. Your first weeks selection must be received no later than September 9th at 12:00 NOON
WHY
This is a fund raiser for the club.
