We value your opinions. 88% of respondents approved of the 2010 proposed schedule. There were some members who suggested going back to Red Oak and Holiday Hideway.

Red Oak is a great resort. We spoke with Red Oak about a spring tournament but they had other tournaments scheduled and could not guarantee they would have enough slips. With Red Oak out we thought about going back to the Flame but then we received an email from Bass Point Resort. Bass Point offered us rooms (1-4 persons) for $53.00 including the slip. This is a very good deal and we want to keep expenses down for members.

Holiday Hideaway - Carl and Sue are great. We wanted to go back to Holiday Hideaway for a spring tournament but again they had other tournaments scheduled so there were no slips and limited rooms available. We still wanted to go to Table Rock in the spring so we decided to look at Schooner Creek. Our tournaments there in the past have been successful and the folks at Schooner Creek have always been good to us.

We also tried changing the dates for Table Rock and LOZ but we still ran into the same problems. So, our first choices were LOZ-Red Oak and Table Rock-Holiday Hideaway. We really wish it would have worked out.

Also, the 2010 officers have unanimously voted to raise the tournament entry fee from $50 per boat to $60 per boat. The additional money will be used to raise the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place payout.

All of the information for the 2010 tournament season will be emailed to current members sometime this week and the website will be updated.
